Zafer Durkut

Zafer Durkut's work experience is as follows:

- Senior Software Engineer at Firefly since March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from January 2020 to March 2022. In their roles, they developed services and APIs for Digital Out-of-Home Advertising (DOOH) products, optimized performance for campaign planning and forecasting processes, and designed database and API solutions for campaign management and reporting.

- Software Engineer at Zingat.com from June 2019 to January 2020. Zafer was responsible for web scraping, database, and API designs, execution of ETL processes for data collection, and processing for business intelligence projects. Zafer also worked on CI/CD processes and managed services on AWS for various products.

- GIS Developer at ITU-CSCRS from August 2017 to June 2019. Zafer developed various services for processing and managing satellite images and geographic data using Python and related libraries. Zafer also worked on database designs, data flow, presentation, and API services for data processing and management. In addition, they developed labeling, control, and reporting services for deep learning projects.

- Engineering Intern at OdakGIS in August 2016. Zafer'sresponsibilities included providing geospatial data on the web, processing, and managing geospatial data in the database, and image processing applications.

Zafer Durkut's education history is as follows:

In 2013, they began their Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics Engineering at Kocaeli University, which they completed in 2017.

After their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Geomatics Engineering at Istanbul Technical University from 2018 to 2019.

Continuing their academic journey, from 2019 to 2022, Zafer pursued another Master of Science degree, this time in Geographic Information Technology and Geodesy, at Gebze Technical University.

Additionally, Zafer obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge.
