Chad Hall, CPA

Chad Hall, CPA, has a diverse range of work experience in the accounting and finance industry. Chad currently serves as the CFO at Firelands Scientific, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, Chad held the role of VP, Accounting & Finance at McCormick FONA from 2014 to 2020. Before that, they worked as the Sr. Director, Compliance & Controls at Preferred Hotels & Resorts from 2010 to 2014. Chad also has experience as an Audit Manager at Protiviti from 2004 to 2010 and began their career as an Audit Associate & Intern at PwC from 2001 to 2004.

Chad Hall, CPA, obtained a Masters of Accountancy degree in Accounting from Miami University in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Miami University in 2001. In 2000, they also completed a program in International Finance at the Dulibois European Center in Luxembourg.

In 2018, Chad attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business where they completed the CFO Executive Program, focusing on Finance. Additionally, they hold various certifications from the AICPA including the CPA designation and certificates in Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Finance and Accounting Professionals, Data Analysis Application Essentials, Data Analysis Fundamentals, Data Visualization, and Finance Transformation: Manage Disruption.

Between 2007 and 2011, Chad also engaged in further education through their involvement with the Treasurer Alumni Association Chicago Chapter at Miami University.
