Alex Kirmse

Alex Kirmse has over 15 years of work experience. Alex began their career in 2001 as a Developer and Owner at Pluvia Interactive. In 2005, they became the Head of Mobile at Zappos Family of Companies, where they led and hired a team of senior engineers and designers to successfully define and execute a multi-platform mobile roadmap. Alex also grew and hired the Front-End Development team from a team of 2 to a team of 18. In 2013, they co-founded Fairejour.com. In 2016, they became the Head of Engineering at Lob and the VP of Engineering at Place. In 2012, they co-founded firesqueak.

Alex Kirmse obtained a High School Diploma from John-F-Kennedy School Berlin, Germany in 1997. Alex then attended UNLV Lee Business School from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a BS in Management Information Systems. In 2013, they obtained a Private Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
