Joel Fossourier

Joel Fossourier has a diverse range of work experience in the marketing field. Joel is currently the Director of Growth Marketing at Media.Monks, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to joining Media.Monks, Joel was the Director of Growth Marketing at Firewood, a company that is now part of Media.Monks. During their time at Firewood, Joel held various roles including Associate Director of Growth Marketing and Associate Director of Digital Marketing. Joel also served as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, where they managed search and display campaigns for Google AdWords in multiple regions.

Before their time at Firewood, Joel worked at Indosys Corporation as a Search Campaign Optimizer for Google AdWords SMB Marketing. Joel managed search campaigns for various markets including NA, EMEA, and LATAM.

Joel's earlier experience includes working as a Paid Search Strategist at Resolution Media, where they implemented Apple's search marketing strategy for MacBooks and mentored new hires. Joel also worked as an SEM Contractor at Hotwire, coordinating marketing support and developing advertising campaigns to compete with online travel agencies.

Joel began their career at Google, where they held the position of Account Manager. Joel managed the evaluation process for recruiting new candidates for AdWords and conducted workshops on the product. Joel also worked as a Recruiting Coordinator at Oracle, where they organized and coordinated candidates' interviewing schedules and exceeded expectations by taking on additional tasks.

Joel Fossourier completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Marketing, and Music at Duke University from 1996 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in IAB Digital Marketing and Media Foundations from IAB Learning in October 2017 and Google Partners AdWords Certification from Google Partners (specific dates not provided).
