Rachel Sun

Rachel Sun has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rachel began their career as a Marketing Intern at Ogilvy & Mather in 2011. In 2012, they joined Deloitte as a Consultant in Enterprise Risk Services, where they worked until 2015. Rachel then worked as a Public Programs Intern at the Asian Art Museum in 2016. In the same year, they also took on the role of Music Composer at Better Chinese LLC, composing and rearranging Chinese kids' rhymes. In 2017, Rachel worked as a Localization QA Tester at Moravia before transitioning to Firework, where they held various roles including Global Content Operations and Platform Integrations Manager. Currently, Rachel is serving as the Global Growth and Integration Manager at Firework.

Rachel Sun received their Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Fudan University in 2012. During their time there, they also participated in a Study Abroad Program at Keio University from 2010 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, Rachel went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in East Asian Studies at Stanford University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their university education, Rachel completed high school at Yan'An High School from 2005 to 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Rachel obtained the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 1 in July 2009. In December 2015, they achieved elementary fluency in Spanish through the Duolingo Spanish Fluency certification. Rachel also obtained elementary fluency certifications in Italian and English through Duolingo in December 2007 and 1994, respectively. Additionally, Rachel has a Test of Proficiency in Korean II - Level 5 certification, obtained in June 2015. Rachel holds a CISA certification from ISACA, but the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
