Jairo Ortiz

Jairo Ortiz has extensive work experience in the field of technology and security. Jairo started their career as a Technical Support specialist at ClientLogic in 2003 and then transitioned to become a Computer Network Technician as a Freelancer from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Network Administrator at V51 Consulting until 2009. From 2009 to 2021, Jairo served as an Infrastructure Manager at Firmex, where they demonstrated their expertise in managing and maintaining infrastructure systems. Jairo then progressed to the position of Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure Security at Firmex from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Cloud Security at Firmex, starting in 2022.

Jairo Ortiz has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad 'Santa María'. Jairo obtained this degree between the years 1995 and 2000. Jairo also holds a Network Specialist Diploma in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology, which they earned from Yorkville College in the years 2002 to 2003.
