First 5 Minutes is one of Australia’s most trusted names in Emergency Response Preparedness. Since 1986, we’ve supported organisations across industries in achieving full compliance with Australian Standards—helping to minimise risk and protect both people and property for almost four decades.

We deliver a holistic safety solution through tailored emergency management services and maintain the largest Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) training team in Australia. Our in-person training sessions are highly interactive, site-specific, and led by experienced facilitators who understand the unique needs of each facility.

Whether it’s fire safety, medical emergencies, or critical incident scenarios—including bomb threats, armed intrusions, lockdowns, or active threats—we provide comprehensive crisis management training designed to build confidence and resilience in the workplace.

We’re also among the leading providers of evacuation diagrams for businesses and establishments nationwide, ensuring that every site has the right visual guidance to support fast and safe evacuations.

While in-person delivery is our strength, we also offer flexible options including online training, webinars, and virtual reality modules—accessible anytime via our secure portal, Webconnect.

We also offer ESM (Essential Safety Measures) and Property Risk services, supporting building owners and facility managers in maintaining compliance and managing physical risks. From audits and maintenance schedules to asset registers and reporting, we help ensure that safety systems are functional, documented, and ready when needed.

With a continued investment in innovation and real-world expertise, First 5 Minutes delivers more than compliance—we deliver peace of mind.
