Elgin Thomas

Elgin Thomas is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Lead Backend Engineer at First Advantage since November 2010, Elgin has previously held positions including Teaching Assistant for Java at The Iron Yard, Senior Consultant at Veredus, and various roles at LexisNexis - RISK, including Manager of Software Engineering. Elgin's earlier career includes software engineering positions at Land America, Primis, Dun & Bradstreet Software (GEAC), and Digital Equipment Corporation. Elgin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans, earned between 1984 and 1988.
