Matt T.

Matt T. is an experienced professional in information security, currently serving as Vice President of Information Security at First Advantage since November 2024. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Vice President Information Security and CISO at Sterling from February 2012 until November 2024, where leadership encompassed managing all aspects of information security during significant growth and an IPO. Matt's earlier experience includes serving as Product Security Systems Engineering Manager at GE Energy from May 2003 to January 2012, overseeing security solutions for power generation and electric grid systems. Additional roles include Chief Information Security Officer at GE Lighting and Enterprise Systems Architect at Eaton Corporation. Matt holds a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Technology from Cleveland State University.
