David Brown

David Brown has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. David began their career at McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Company as an MIS Operations Section Manager. David then worked as a Computer Operations Supervisor at Beech Street of California, Inc. and Director of Information Systems at Newport Dental Plan.

In 1995, they joined Tully Health Systems as a Systems Engineer, where they worked closely with external customers to analyze their business and technology needs. David also provided technical sales support and conducted live demonstrations at customer sites.

In 1999, they worked as a Project Leader at Countrywide Mortgage Services, leading a design team in developing a 3-tiered application. David then joined Quality Systems, Inc as a Business Analyst.

From 2000 to 2003, they served as a Software Development Engineer at MovePilot, Inc. | Access Relocation, where they played a leadership role in designing and developing Lotus Notes/Domino based relocation management application software.

In 2003, they joined MCIWorldCom as a Major Accounts Client Executive, managing $2.1 million in contracted revenue. Their responsibilities included identifying telecommunications and business solution opportunities and presenting proposed solutions to executive management.

From 2004 to 2013, they worked at First American Database Solutions as the Director of Product Management.

Since 2013, they have been working at First American Title, initially as an IT Director and currently as a Product Management Director.

David Brown has attended Developmentor in Torrance, CA and McDonnell Douglas Management and Professional Development in St. Louis, MO. David has obtained several certifications including Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Scrum Alliance in 2016, Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB) from Toastmasters International in 2016, Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) from Toastmasters International in 2015, ITIL Foundations v3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2010, Certified Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2010, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2008.
