Augustine Boateng has had extensive work experience in various roles within the banking and telecommunications industries. In their most recent position as the Head of Channel Sales at First Atlantic Bank Ghana, they were responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at increasing revenue from services, online usage, and patronage. Augustine Boateng completed their Master's in Business Administration (Project Management) from Accra Business School in Ghana. Augustine graduated in 2021. Prior to that, in 2015, they attended the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and completed a course on Finance for Non Finance Managers. In 2014, Boateng pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. In 2011, they obtained a Diploma in Marketing Management from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM UK). Boateng's undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Integrated Rural Arts and Industry, was earned from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi in 2008.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Boateng also obtained certifications, including a certification in Digital Marketing from JPCANN ASSOCIATES LIMITED in March 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Governance & Leadership in March 2013.
