George Nicola

George Nicola, CFP®, CIMA®, CAIA has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. George worked at First Bank starting in 2019, where they held the positions of VP | Sr. Portfolio Manager and Team Leader until September 2021, and currently serves as the SVP | Chief Investment Officer. Prior to that, they worked at The Commerce Trust Company | Commerce Bank from 2015 to 2019 as a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at U.S. Trust | Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Earlier in their career, they worked at J.P. Morgan as a Vice President and National Training Officer/Investment Manager from 2009 to 2012, and at Banc of America Investments as an Assistant Vice President and Financial Advisor from 2005 to 2009.

George Nicola, CFP®, CIMA®, CAIA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Cairo University in 1999. In the same year, they also earned a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from The American University in Cairo. In 2017, they received a Certificate in Investment Management Theory and Practice from the Yale School of Management. Additionally, George has obtained additional certifications including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ from the CFP Board, Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association, and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) from the CAIA Association.
