Beatrice Wikander

Beatrice Wikander is currently the Senior Managing Editor at First Book, where they collaborate with thought leaders to create actionable resources for educators serving children in need. Previously, they served as the Manager of Marketing & Communications for The Association of Child Life Professionals, Inc., where they developed marketing strategies and maintained the organization's website. Beatrice's extensive freelance editing career spanned from 2004 to 2016, working with notable publishers and managing various editorial projects. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Carleton College and are pursuing a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature at Harvard Extension School.
