Lynette R. Appling, MSHRM, PHR has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries. Lynnette R. currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at First Book, where they are a part of the senior leadership team. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Human Resources on the executive team at St. Mary's Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. During their time there, they successfully reduced the time to fill positions from 130 days to just 21 days.

From 2014 to 2022, Lynette worked at Victory Christian Ministries International, Inc. as the TCBM Administrator on the executive team. Lynnette R. was responsible for rebuilding and overseeing the department's operational, organizational, fiducial, and managerial responsibilities. Lynnette R. also played a key role in establishing sustainability and growth by maximizing efficiency and reducing costs.

Previously, Lynette founded and served as the Executive Consultant at Appling HR Executive Solutions. Lynnette R. provided advisory services to organizations on human resources policies and procedures, and was recognized as an internal expert in evaluating and proposing innovative solutions for HR functions.

Before their career in HR, Lynette established Ladies Night Out, Inc. in 2000, a non-profit organization focused on the development of single mothers.
