Derek Smith

Derek Smith is an IT Security & Compliance Specialist and has more than seven years of Information Technology experience in the civilian and defense industries. He graduated from West Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. In addition, Derek is a Navy veteran that served for over four years. He served at the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, MD as a Network Specialist and served onboard the USS Bataan LHD5 as a Radio Technician. Post military, Derek went on working as a defense contractor at Fort Gordon, GA and Fort Hood, TX.
