Alistair Spencer

Alistair Spencer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Head of Pricing & Underwriting Operations and Head of Product Development at First Central since February 2012. In this role, Alistair manages a team of six and oversees all aspects of Personal Lines Motor Insurance, while maintaining an internal rating engine that processes approximately 500,000 quotes daily. Prior to First Central, Alistair worked as an Insurer Relations Executive at Open GI from April 2004 to February 2012, where responsibilities included managing accounts for UK, NI, and ROI insurers and meeting various order intake targets. Earlier positions include EDI Manager at Zenith Insurance, managing an electronic trading team, and Technical Underwriting at Zenith Insurance Management Ltd, handling underwriting queries and system testing. Educational background includes attendance at Warden Park High School from 1983 to 1989 and Warden Park from 1981 to 1986.
