Samantha Middleton

Samantha Middleton is a Senior Commercial 1st Line Risk Manager at First Central, a position held since February 2022. Prior to this role, Samantha served as the Retail Risk Lead at Aviva, overseeing the first-line risk and governance team for Aviva’s personal lines general insurance business and the governance of Aviva UK Digital Limited. Samantha's experience also includes roles as Risk and Governance Manager at Aviva, where responsibilities included managing risk functions across multiple brands, and as an Advisor in Compliance and Governance Advisor at Suncorp Group, focusing on compliance management frameworks and operational risk support. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Claims Examiner at Chubb Insurance and Graduate-at-Law at PCC Lawyers. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Western Sydney, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Australian Catholic University, and completed Practical Legal Training at The College of Law.
