Mr. Luis Maizel serves as the President of Maizel Enterprises, Inc., and is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the University of San Diego, where he also chairs the Investment Committee. He is a co-founder and Senior Manager of the Investment Strategy Group at LM Capital Group, LLC, also serving as President of LM Capital Management since 1989 and LM Advisors Inc. since 1984. He has been investing in the global fixed income market for over thirty years. He previously served as Vice President of Finance for Grupoventas, S.A., as well as President of both Industrias Kuick, S.A., and Blount Agroindustrias, S.A., manufacturers of agribusiness equipment. Mr. Maizel previously served as a Director of United PanAmerican Financial Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed company; Pacific Commerce Bancorp and Bank; and Vibra Bank. He has also served as a board member of the United States Board of Directors of Nacional Financiera (NAFIN- Mexico's National Development Company), Wells Fargo San Diego Community Board, and several nonprofit organizations, and was previously a Faculty Member at the Harvard Business School. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Mexico, Masters of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from National University of Mexico, and Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, the school's highest academic honor.
