David Smith

David Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the housing sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Stepping Stone since September 2019, David also holds a long-standing position at First Choice Homes Oldham, where involvement dates back to November 2003 in various roles including Experienced former Customer Services and Finance & Development Director and Customer First Director. Prior experience includes a tenure at Rochdale Boroughwide Housing from September 1992 to November 2003, serving in several capacities including Assistant Operations Director, and a consulting role at Priority Estates Project Ltd from June 1989 to September 1992. Academically, David holds a BA (Econ) Hons and a Diploma in Housing from prestigious institutions including Manchester University and the London School of Economics, educated between 1980 and 1987.
