J.g. Stoker

J.G. Stoker has extensive experience in pastoral leadership within the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), serving as Senior Pastor at various locations from March 2016 to the present. Notably, Stoker held the position of Senior Pastor at the First Christian Church in Alvin, Texas, and from November 2022, has continued this role. Prior to the pastoral career, Stoker worked as a Minister of Pastoral Care at Cypress Creek Christian Church and served as a retired Registered Nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center for a decade. Education includes a Master’s degree in Divinity/Ministry from Houston Graduate School of Theology and a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies - Houston, complemented by two associate degrees—one in Registered Nursing from Houston Community College and another in Business/Commerce from North Harris County College.
