James Childers

James Childers is an experienced pastor with a career spanning over two decades in various churches. Since December 2016, James has served as Senior Pastor at the First Church of God, previously holding the position of Associate Pastor. Prior roles include Senior Pastor at The Church of God from April 2011 to June 2016, and at Mason First Church of God from November 2004 to May 2010. James began the pastoral journey as a Senior Pastor at Alton First Church of God, where the role was bi-vocational, from September 1996 to September 2004. James pursued studies in Chemical Engineering at Miami University-Middletown between 1980 and 1981.
