Ann McDonel

Ann McDonel is an experienced communications strategist currently serving as a Senior Communications Strategist at First Citizens Bank since May 2025. Previously, Ann worked at the Bureau of Economic Analysis from January 2016 to May 2025 as an Economic Content Specialist, where Ann was a key communicator within a collaborative public affairs team. Prior to this role, Ann was a Program Analyst in the New Media Division of the Bureau of Labor Statistics from June 2010 to January 2016, contributing as an author and editor for The Economics Daily. Ann holds a Master of Arts in International Business from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, also from the University of Florida, with additional studies at the University of Maryland.
