Tyler Farmer

Tyler Farmer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud service infrastructure, server engineering, and IT management. Currently serving as a Senior IT Manager at First Citizens Bank since July 2015, Tyler oversees leadership for Cloud Service Infrastructure, including VMware, Datacenter Hardware, Containers, and Public Cloud initiatives. Previously, Tyler held multiple director-level positions at CIT Bank before its acquisition by First Citizens Bank, focusing on Windows Engineering, Unix Engineering, AIX Engineering, and Converged Engineering. Prior to CIT, Tyler worked at Wells Fargo Securities as an Applications System Engineer, specializing in TIBCO DataSynapse GridServer and Oracle Coherence Cache. Tyler's career also includes a role as Director of IT Operations at Ultra Machine and Fabrication. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Software and Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a high school diploma with a focus on Network Administration from Highland School of Technology.
