Jose Colon

Jose Colon is the VP, Business Development Officer at First Citizens Community Bank. Jose has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, starting their career as a Sales Representative for Nabisco Biscuit Company. Jose then transitioned to The Peoples Bank of Oxford as a Branch Manager. In 2001, they joined Fulton Bank as a Branch Manager and was with the company for four years until 2005. Jose then became a Commercial Lender for DNB First and held that position for three years until 2008.

After leaving DNB First, Jose became the Director of Lending for Keystone Federal Credit Union and held that position for five years until 2013. Jose then joined Quaint Oak Bank as a Commercial Lender and was with the company for three years until 2016. In August 2016, Jose transitioned to MidCoast Community Bank as their VP Commercial Lending and held that position for four years until 2020. Jose has been with First Citizens Community Bank since 2020.

Jose Colon graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science/Public Administration. Jose then worked in the political science field for a few years before eventually becoming a public administrator.
