Gerard Morton

Gerard Morton is currently the Group Chief Risk Officer at First Citizens Bank, a position held since 2023. Previously, Gerard served as Director of Credit Risk Management at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank from 2006 to 2023, and held roles including Director of Institutional Relationships and Deals Management and Assistant Vice President-Risk Management at other institutions. Gerard began their career as a Credit Officer at the Agricultural Development Bank from 1995 to 1999. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of the West Indies and are pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Heriot-Watt University.
