Misty Chan has extensive experience in the animal care sector and military operations. Currently serving as a Veterinary Technician at First Coast No More Homeless Pets since November 2019, Misty previously held the position of Kennel Team Lead and Adoption Counselor at Mt Pleasant Animal Shelter from November 2013 to August 2016, where responsibilities included maintaining kennel conditions and facilitating pet adoptions. In the military, Misty served as an Air Traffic Controller with NC ARNG, managing air traffic safety from 2008 to 2014, and as a Flight Operations Specialist within NCANG from 2009 to 2011, focusing on aviation records and emergency drills. Additionally, Misty was a Personnelman in the US Naval Reserves from May 2004 to April 2006, providing administrative and security support. Education includes a Cosmetology degree and state license obtained from Sussex County Vo Tech.
