Chief Mortgage Banking Officer at First Community Bank

Narin Seera CMB has extensive experience in the mortgage industry, starting in 1988 with Citibank as an Assistant VP in Financial Planning and Analysis. They then worked at Foster Mortgage as the VP of Risk Management, where they established and oversaw the Risk Management function for a $9 billion mortgage portfolio. In 1993, Narin joined Capstead Inc. as the VP of ALM and Mortgage Trader, where they managed a $40 billion mortgage portfolio and chaired the Portfolio Analysis Group.

After that, Narin worked at First Horizon National Corporation as a Senior VP of Portfolio Risk Management, focusing on risk management and sales risk management. They then became the Chief Risk Officer for the Consumer Lending Division at First National Bank of Omaha, overseeing risk management of mortgage assets and serving as a secondary marketing manager.

In 2009, Narin joined BOK Financial as the SVP of Mortgage Capital Markets, leading a team of 40 and generating annual gross revenue of $85-$105 million. They then moved to Academy Mortgage Corporation as the VP of Capital Markets Operations, where they worked until 2020. Currently, Narin is the Chief Mortgage Banking Officer at First Community Bank of South Carolina, responsible for leading the mortgage line of business and managing a wide array of mortgage products.

Narin Seera CMB obtained an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, completing the program from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they earned an MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where they studied from 1983 to 1986.
