First Community Credit Union
Our community first laid its foundation in Jamestown, North Dakota in 1939. Since that time, we've grown to 29 branches across North Dakota and Western Minnesota, in towns of all sizes. First Community has the largest membership of all credit unions in North Dakota, with a field of membership that covers over a third of the state and into Western Minnesota. As a credit union, FCCU is owned by its members. This is different than banks, which are owned by a select group of stockholders. The credit union's profits are returned to the members in the form of better services, accounts, and favorable rates on savings and loans. FCCU was recently named Community Credit Union of the year by Credit Union National Association. It's a national award and we're honored to tell you we won it for our service to our members, our community, and because of our strong financial condition. In 2020 and 2021, FCCU was also named a top 50 Best Places to Work, by Prairie Business Magazine. Consider joining the Community Credit Union of the year!
