Sarah Tomkins

Sarah Tomkins has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Sarah most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at First Community Health and Care since December 2022. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Walton Charity, including Chair of Walton Charity and Board Trustee. From 2014 to 2022, Sarah worked at CSH Surrey, where they held multiple roles including Director Of Adult Services, Associate Director Of Operations Unscheduled Care, Head of Performance, and Operational Manager. Sarah also served as a General Manager at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust from 2012 to 2014. Sarah's career in the NHS began in 2004, where they held the role of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Manager until 2012.

Sarah Tomkins attended Claremont Fan Court School from 1985 to 1990. Sarah then went on to study at the University of Surrey, where they obtained a MSc in Psychotherapy as a means to Health from 1998 to 2001. Later, they pursued a MSc in Healthcare Management at the same university from 2008 to 2011. In 2016 to 2017, Sarah enrolled in the NHS Leadership Academy to earn a Nye Bevan NHS Award in Executive Leadership.
