Kavitha Rao

Kavitha Rao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Murex management and consulting. Currently serving as Managing Principal at First Derivative since March 2024, Kavitha also holds the position of Murex Test Manager at FD Technologies, working with Mizuho Securities since June 2021. Previous roles include Senior Murex Consultant at Jefferies and various vice president positions at DBS Bank, where responsibilities spanned IT Senior Murex Release, Test, and Project Management. Earlier experience includes positions as a Murex Technical Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank, Consultant for Murex at Mindtree Consulting, and a Senior Software Engineer at HCL Technologies. Kavitha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering and completed secondary education at Sarada Vilas College and Christ the King Convent.
