Sophie Ohaus

Sophie Ohaus is a seasoned program coordinator with a strong background in youth development and health-oriented programs. Currently serving as the Program Coordinator at First Descents since May 2021, Sophie contributes to providing transformative outdoor experiences for young adults affected by serious health conditions. Prior experience includes managing programs at Girls on the Run of the Rockies, where Sophie focused on promoting social and physical competencies among young girls from February 2017 to October 2020. Additional roles encompass various positions in economic development and event coordination, as well as internships related to public relations and data analysis. Sophie Ohaus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Global Health from Colorado College, complemented by international educational experiences from the School for International Training and The School for Field Studies.
