Carl Waterland

Carl Waterland has extensive work experience in finance and business partnering. Carl started their career in 1997 at first direct, where they held various roles, including Assistant Accountant and Finance Manager. In 2007, they became a Business Partner in Income, analyzing financial data and providing insights. Carl then joined HSBC in 2009, where they worked as a Senior Business Partner in Savings, responsible for planning, reporting, and driving change for multiple savings products. In 2014, Carl returned to first direct as the Head of Finance, overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Carl Waterland attended Boston Spa Comprehensive from 1984 to 1991, where they obtained 3 A Levels and 9 GCSE's. Carl then went on to Newcastle University from 1991 to 1994, where they studied Accounting and Financial Analysis and obtained a degree in Accounting and Finance.
