Simon Mak

Simon Mak has over 10 years of experience in various roles, primarily in the banking and finance industry. Simon is currently the Head of Propositions at first direct since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at HSBC from 2010 to 2021, where they held positions such as Head of Product - UK Originations, Head of Product - Global Digital Loans, Senior Digital Product Manager - Unsecured Lending, Digital Ideas Manager, Digital Product Manager for Wealth, and Consultant in Global Banking & Markets. Simon also served as the Managing Director at SSKM LTD from December 2014 to January 2019 and at ARB Five Ltd from June 2013 to December 2014.

Simon Mak attended Latymer School Edmonton from 2000 to 2006. Simon then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2006 to 2009.
