Jim Barling joined First Eagle as deputy chief compliance officer in January 2017. He came from UBS Asset Management, where he served as senior compliance officer. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the compliance field at firms such as NYMEX, JP Morgan, Neuberger Berman, and Allianz Global Investors. He received his MBA in banking and finance from Dowling College.
