Briana Thomas is an experienced professional in credit risk management and analytics, currently serving as the VP of Credit - Risk and Analytics and Model Risk Manager at First Electronic Bank since August 2019. Previously, Briana held roles at Zions Bancorporation, including Senior Credit Risk Analyst in Consumer Lending, where the validation of statistical models and collaboration with regulators occurred. Additional responsibilities as Reporting Analyst involved streamlining analytics processes and developing key performance metrics. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at Utah State University, focusing on data analysis and model design, and an internship in credit risk analytics. Briana holds an MS in Economics and Statistics and a BS in Statistics with a minor in Mathematics from Utah State University.
