Dennis Gerhart

Dennis Gerhart is an experienced safety professional with a career spanning over two decades in the field. Currently serving as the Safety Manager for New Jersey and Maryland at First Energy since May 2023, Dennis has previously held the position of Safety Supervisor at First Energy (Met-Ed, Potomac Edison) from March 2015 to June 2023. Prior to that, Dennis worked at Met-Ed from August 2004 to March 2015, where roles included Sr. Safety Representative and Crew Supervisor. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management/Operations from Moravian University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
