Matthew Washam

Matthew Washam has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Matthew worked at First & Farmers National Bank, Inc. from 2004 to present, starting as an Assistant Branch Manager and Mortgage Lender. Matthew then moved up to Vice President / Commercial Lending and eventually became Vice President / Senior Lending Officer. Currently, they hold the position of Market President. Prior to joining First & Farmers National Bank, Inc., they worked as a Teller at BB&T from 2002 to 2003.

Matthew Washam attended Somerset High School from 1996 to 2000. Matthew then went on to Western Kentucky University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with a minor in Marketing from 2000 to 2003. In 2016 to 2018, Matthew attended both ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and The Wharton School. At ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, they pursued a Graduate School of Banking degree, while at The Wharton School, they obtained an Executive Leadership Certification.
