Matthew Harrington

Matthew Harrington is an accomplished fitness industry leader with extensive experience spanning over a decade. As President and Founder of GymIt since October 2010, Matthew developed a concept that attracts fitness-forward young professionals, successfully managing locations that facilitate over 20,000 workouts per month. In addition to this role, Matthew has served as Head of Business Development and Executive Team Member at Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women since December 2007, where data analysis of member needs informs operational improvements. Other notable positions include Partner at First Fitness Management, Partner at Republic Fitness, and various board roles focusing on business development and community engagement. Matthew holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in Business Administration from Colby College.
