Mia Mabanta

Mia Mabanta is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and marketing sectors, currently serving as a Founding Partner at First Harmonic since 2023, where early-stage investment and go-to-market programs are emphasized for founders. Prior to this, Mia was part of Y Combinator from 2018 to 2023, focusing on YC Continuity, which invested in elite startups such as Stripe and Coinbase. At Quartz, from 2013 to 2018, Mia excelled as Head of Product, Growth, and Brand Marketing, significantly contributing to the company's 10X revenue and employee growth while leading various marketing initiatives. Mia co-founded HelloWallet, a fintech startup acquired by Morningstar, and began a career at The Brookings Institution as a Research Analyst, producing impactful research on underserved consumer markets. Mia holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA from Colgate University.
