Derek Baughman

Derek Baughman has over 25 years of experience in IT leadership. Derek was the EVP and Chief Information Officer at First Hawaiian Bank from March 2017 to present, and previously served as the EVP and IT Division Manager since June 2014. Prior to that, they were the President of BridgeWay Advisors LLC, a consulting company they started after leaving Bank of Hawaii in December 2014. At Bank of Hawaii, Derek held various roles including SEVP and Chief Information Officer from September 2004 to October 2013, and Senior Vice President and Division Manager from February 2001 to August 2004. Derek also worked as a Vice President at Bank of Hawaii from 1995 to 2000.

Derek Baughman has completed Executive Education in Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School. Derek also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Hawaii Pacific University, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
