Iris Matsumoto

Iris Matsumoto is the Executive Vice President & CHRO, Human Resource Group at First Hawaiian Bank. Iris has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, and has held senior positions at some of Hawaii's largest companies.

Iris began their career in 1988 as Vice President of Human Resources at Hawaiian Airlines. In 1994 they became Director of Compensation & Benefits at C. Brewer & Co., Ltd., and then in 1996 they were promoted to Vice President of Human Resources at Maui Land & Pineapple Co., Inc.

Iris has been with First Hawaiian Bank since 1999, and has been instrumental in developing the bank's HR strategy and policies. Under their leadership, the bank has won numerous awards for its employee relations and development programs.

Their manager is Robert Harrison , Chairman & CEO. Iris Matsumoto works with Neill Char - Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking Group, Mitchell Nishimoto - Vice Chairman and Head of Retail Banking Group, and Joel Rappoport - Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Legal and Corporate Services Division.
