Melanie Akau

Melanie Akau has extensive experience in the banking and administrative sectors, currently serving as a Senior Teller at First Hawaiian Bank since June 2017 and as an Administrative Assistant at T.H.Y. & Associates, Inc. since December 2007. In the administrative role, Melanie successfully configured and implemented the TimeClock Plus web application for 30 employees, including features for automatic paid-leave accruals and punch rounding. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Governors University and has completed multiple certifications in web development, including a Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp.
