Thomas Decloedt

Thomas Decloedt is currently the VP & Senior Data Science Team Leader at First Hawaiian Bank, leading the Wealth & Wholesale Banking Data Product Delivery team. Prior to this role, Thomas held various positions within the company, including VP & Data Scientist for Market Intelligence, AVP & Data Scientist for Credit Products, and Risk Modeler in the Risk Analysis Department. Before joining the bank, Thomas worked at the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a Research Affiliate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on projects related to Thorpe scale estimates and turbulence analysis using standard CTD/LADCP data. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
