Matt Cowden

Matt Cowden is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as the Opening General Manager of Lively Hotel in OAK, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a 132-room boutique hotel in Oklahoma City. Previously, Cowden was the General Manager of The Ellison, a 120-room hotel within the Marriott Tribute portfolio, and served as the Opening General Manager of 21c Museum Hotel Oklahoma City, known for blending contemporary art with hotel experiences. Cowden's career also includes significant roles at ConversionLogix as RVP Sales & Marketing, and at Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel, managing a large property and leading sales and marketing teams. Earlier experience includes managing multiple hotels during a tenure with Marriott International. Cowden holds a Bachelor's degree in Oral Communications/Public Relations from the University of Central Oklahoma.
