James Haag

James Haag is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as Environmental Manager at First Majestic Silver Corp. since September 2022. Previously, James held several roles at Freeport-McMoRan, including Chief Environmental Scientist, where management of Waste Management and Recycling programs at the Morenci Mine was key, overseeing a team of over 30. James's earlier experiences include positions as Senior Environmental Scientist, Environmental Scientist, Staff Scientist at Cardno ATC, and Geologist at Whetstone Associates, Inc. Education comprises a Bachelor of Arts in Geology/Earth Science from Western Colorado University and a recent certification in Part 107 Made Easy from Pilot Institute.
