Kieran Johnson

Kieran Johnson is a seasoned professional in internal audit and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit & Risk Management at First Majestic Silver Corp. since January 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager of Group Internal Audit Americas at AngloGold Ashanti from April 2012 to January 2021, and Manager of Internal Controls at Aura Minerals Inc. from May 2010 to April 2012. Kieran's auditing career began at Teck Resources Limited, where Kieran worked as an Internal Auditor from May 2005 to May 2010, followed by a position as Audit Manager at Smythe Ratcliffe LLP from May 2004 to April 2005. Earlier experience at PwC as an Assistant Manager in Assurance and Business Advisory spanned from July 1999 to March 2004. Kieran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Liverpool, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
