Douglas P. Beale

Douglas P. Beale, CPA, has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Douglas P. started their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Odling, Clark, Shelton, & Associates in 1991 and worked there until 1998. Douglas P. then joined First Midwest Group in 1998, initially as a Senior Accountant and later as the CFO. In their role as CFO, Douglas was responsible for managing various departments, including accounting, finance, construction, property management, and talent management. Douglas P. oversaw the completion of financial reporting, tax compliance, and tax planning. Douglas P. also played a significant role in construction budgeting and project management, as well as property management. Douglas was experienced in advanced tax planning strategies and issues, handling over 150 entities and K-1s. Additionally, they were involved in investment and property acquisition financial due diligence, financial analysis review, and estate tax planning. Douglas was also responsible for monitoring KPIs and performance metrics of staff and departments, reporting the results to the CEO, and leading process improvement initiatives.

Douglas P. Beale, CPA, completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Augustana College, which they attended from 1987 to 1990. Following their undergraduate education, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in November 1991.
