Lisa M. Peterson

Lisa M. Peterson has a diverse work experience in various roles within the mining and accounting industries. Lisa M. is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at First Mining Gold Corp., where they focus on the development of gold projects in Ontario and Quebec. Prior to this, Lisa held the role of Director at Auventus and served as the Chief Financial Officer at Zacapa Resources and Libero Copper & Gold, where they were involved in mineral exploration projects across the USA and South America.

In addition, Lisa has experience in corporate reporting and global accounting as the Vice President at CIM Group and as the Head of Corporate Reporting and Analysis at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Lisa M. also worked as a Reporting Analyst at New Gold Inc. and gained accounting expertise as a Senior Associate/Accountant at KPMG Canada.

Before entering the mining and accounting fields, Lisa started their career as a Human Resources Assistant at Vancouver Coastal Health. Overall, Lisa has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership and financial expertise in the mining industry, with a focus on project development and financial management.

Lisa M. Peterson's education history includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting and Human Resource Management from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. Lisa M. also completed courses in Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Audit at the Chartered Accountants School of Business (Western Canada) in 2010.
