Darryl Diaz

Darryl Diaz is an accomplished Senior Systems Engineer at First Mode since May 2021, with a robust engineering background spanning over a decade at Chevron in various roles including Field Engineer and Operations Engineer. At Chevron, Darryl managed well abandonment projects, coordinated materials and logistics, and played key roles in multiple significant drilling and completion projects such as the Gorgon Foundation and Wheatstone developments. Additionally, Darryl co-founded New Normal Bar + Kitchen, focusing on circular processes in hospitality. Darryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry from Curtin University and completed a student exchange program at Purdue University.
