David Benavides

David Benavides has worked in the banking industry for over 20 years. David began their career in 2000 as Regional Vice President at Farm Credit Mid-America, where they led and coached a region in North Central Ohio. During their five-year tenure, they grew the loan volume from $350M to more than $750M and improved the efficiency ratio from 67% to 57%.

In 2016, they joined Farmers National Bank of Canfield as Market President/Vice President Commercial/Ag Lending/Team Leader. During their four-year tenure, they generated their own book of business from $0 to $87M, including C&I, commercial real estate, and agricultural loans. David achieved and surpassed personal and team measurements up to 200% from 2017 to 2020 for retention, loan origination, deposits, and fee income. After one year, they were promoted to Team Leader, and promoted to Market President within two years.

Currently, David Benavides is Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer at First National Bank of Bellevue, a position they have held since 2022.

David Benavides has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from Kent State University.
